Yara Castanheira (Brazil/Germany)

Yara Castanheira lives in Berlin, holds a Master in Cultural Studies, Media and Communication from Universität Kassel (Germany) and UCL – Institute of Education (England).

She has an extense experience in curating and managing artistic and socio-educational projects in Brazil and in Europe. She is part of Cut & Sew of the IIP. Her areas of research concentrate in the interface among psychoanalysis, visual arts and cinema; psychoanalysis and foreign language; as well as art and mental health.
